The Arts Society Horsley

We are a friendly society of around 60 members who are interested in learning more about the arts. We hold lectures every month (except August and September) using lecturers from the national Arts Society's directory of over 250 speakers, all of whom are experts in their field.

Our lectures 

Take place on the morning of the second Wednesday of the month. The hour long lectures begin at 10:30am. 

Our monthly lectures cover different aspects of the arts, including painting, sculpture, ceramics, glass, gold, silverware, jewellery, embroidery, furniture, architecture, music, dance, theatre, film and literature.

Our annual subscription for 2026 is £55 for attending our 10 lectures. 

Our meetings

Are held at East Horsley Village Hall (Kingston Avenue, East Horsley, Surrey KT24 6QT). Free parking is available both outside the village hall (limited places) and in the nearby car park behind the village shops.
